Telling our news...

We've had so much fun telling everyone our exciting baby news.

For the Girard side of the family, we gave Desi a travel mug  that she opened in front of everyone for her birthday.

This was the logo on it:

For the Hamline family, we continued the tradition that Michael's sister started and gave his parents a Christmas ornament (like the one here just with names and dates changed, of course.)

For Michael's co-workers, I made some pumpkin cupcakes for Michael to take to work with a picture of the ultrasound. He left the tray at the front of the office and just waited to see who would notice.

For my co-workers, I was so excited that we would be telling our news around Halloween. The kids at work always dress up in their costumes and go trick-or-treating to all our offices. This was my costume:

I have a bun in the oven!

And below is how we told Michael's sister and bro-in-law. Unfortunately, since they are so far away we couldn't tell them in person. So we posted this, called them and told them we had started a new blog and wanted them to look at it.
